More specifically, we’ll be deploying a VM in Azure through GitHub actions and Powershell. In this article we’ll explore how you can use GitHub actions to automatically deploy resources in Azure. This can be used to, for example, automatically run tests against your commits, automatically deploy apps based on pull requests or simply run your own scripts. With Github actions you are able to trigger simple or complex workflows based on events associated to your GitHub repository.
In the end of 2019 an exciting new technology was released: GitHub actions. The development lifecycle has greatly evolved over the past year as more and more developers are able to focus more of their time on actually coding a product and less time and efforts in their deployment and testing process.
